Sustainable agriculture innovator BioPrime AgriSolutions has received the green light from the government to commercialize its high-performance microbial strains from the Bionexus Library. The approval allows BioPrime to deliver its new microbial solutions, which are said to improve 2x performance in 11 areas, including mineralization, nitrogen fixation, nutrient use efficiency and soil regeneration. These new strains were registered in collaboration with the government after careful collection of data on safety, toxicology and stability parameters to ensure quality and safety standards for the microbial stock.
In addition to validating existing strains, BioPime’s approach extends to formulation innovation, a key differentiator for solving long-term challenges related to microbial stability, field planting and plant-microbe interactions. Previous formulations on the market could not overcome these obstacles, limiting the true potential of the microbes in agriculture. Combining state-of-the-art varieties with state-of-the-art formulations, Bioprime is poised to redefine the boundaries of microbial efficacy and deliver unparalleled efficacy. Dr. Shekhar Bhosle, Founder and CEO, BioPrime AgriSolutions, said, “The government’s approval to deploy our potent microbial strains reinforces our vision of a future where sustainable practices will redefine the agricultural landscape.
Dr. Amit Shinde, Founder and CEO of BioPrime AgriSolutions, speaking about the potential of the Bionexus library, said, “This is just the beginning for Bionexus Biologicals. Our library contains several hundred new strains with high potential, including over 650 Bacillus strains, 300+ Pseudomonas strains, 250+ endosymbiotic nitrogen fixers, 50+ Trichoderma strains. We partner with international companies to market these strains.
