Milma partners with Lulu Group to sell products in West Asia

KCMMF CEO Asif K. Yusuf and Lulu Group Director Salim M.A.  the MoU was signed by Kerala Industries Minister P.Rajeeve, Kerala Principal Secretary (Industries and Norka) Suman Billa, Lulu Group Chairman and CEO M.A. In the presence of Yusuf Ali and KCMMF president K.S. Next to Mani  World Food India-2023 in New Delhi.   Initially, Milma’s five long-lasting products were sold in Lulu supermarkets. These are ghee, high-quality dark chocolate, golden milk powder (healthy drink), instant paneer butter masala, and Palada payasam mix.  According to Mani, Milma realized that its traditional products (milk and curd) alone could not promote the cooperative and increased sales of value-added products such as ghee, butter, cheese, and yogurt to meet the tastes of the modern generation. “Our association with Lulu opens new avenues for Milma products in West Asia.  According to the satisfaction of the consumers, the Milma cooperative also guarantees decent payment to the milk producers, said Mani. “We give 83 percent of the sales revenue to farmers. No other cooperative in the country does that, he added. “Our agreement with Lulu makes Milma an international brand. The final beneficiaries are the farmers themselves. KCMMF MD Asif K. Yusuf said the deal with Lulu is estimated to generate sales of ₹ 1,000 crore in the first two years. “Our goal is to increase the Product List at Lulu points of sale to 25.
