National Institute of Technology, Calicut has entered into an MoU with the Indian Institute of Spice Research of ICAR to promote research and training in the field of agriculture. The MoU promotes cooperation between the two leading institutions in Kozhikode. The MOU was signed by NIT Calicut Director Prasad Krishna and ICAR-IISR Director R. Dinesh. The purpose of cooperation is joint educational, training, and research activities. This would ensure mutual benefits through the exchange of technology and agricultural knowledge. Krishna said that the MoU between the two institutions located in close proximity to each other has many advantages. Proper communication, exchange programs, and campus visits help both partners understand the real problems and find solutions, he added.
